Much more than a bar, the Rossio is a gastrobar, with an incomparable view over the Rossio square, the Castle and the river.
It's on the 7th floor of the enlarged Altis Avenida Hotel, offers a very surprising food menu, which invites you to share . Chef João Correia, executive chef of the Hotel, is the one who heads the kitchen team. The creativity of this menu is not just its selection of dishes, but also all the detail of the choice of tableware and cutlery handmade by artisans and designers such as Studioneves, Sara Bozzini's Morsa and Rival’s wooden cutlery.
Architects Cristina Santos e Silva and Ana Menezes Cardoso made the most of the unique orientation of the Rossio Gastrobar in the heart of the city to emphasise its outdoor spaces, incorporating functional, yet comfortable furniture granting the best view of the city. Inside, the transparency of the glazing allows the view to enchant you, and the decor features period materials that honour the history of the building.
